The road tends to go straight up the middle often missing out the coast which is often the most scenic part of our islands. As a TV programme, 'Coast' was quite good, but then I'm a fan! The old herring stations are still visible around Baltasound. Interesting connections with the Swedish fishermen in the past, too.
