Hands up for Horticulture

After all the hard work last term, we just had to fork over the soil for the raised beds. Actually, hands are much more effective and fun than forks! The pupils’ metre squares cut out of the turf did not need much adjustment to make the beds fit.

Anna bakes bread on Monday. After working outside, the pupils didn’t take long to make it disappear today .

You all look like real gardening experts, I’ll need to come in for some lessons! I think this is a brilliant thing for bairns to learn, especially when they don’t have green-fingered parents at home.
