Our session started with Glass way back in August and it looks as if it will end with glass in June.
The Last 3 days of term have been spent in the company of Fiona Foley ,our artist in residence. Pupils made their own glass panels which have been fired in a kiln. We then moved on to the cutting of the glass for the main panels for Valsgarth.
Most of this work was carried out in the galley shed which has a large work bench and concrete floor. The glass could be left out for the whole three days. So we need to thank the Up Helly Aa committee.
