When the sun shines, no-one minds hard graft. The concrete foundation of the greenhouse has been finished. The boys helped by shovelling glass chips into buckets. Everyone made Easter cards for the old folk in the community. In the afternoon, we tried out our new garden shredder. What a piece of kit! The pupils pruned, Anna and Mrs Priest shredded and the pupils mulched around the pruned fuchsia. We even had a former parent come a help for a while when he saw what we were doing.The daffodils were trampled underfoot but a small price to pay when we think about how we filled the community skip with fuchsia last year.
