The local rep for Traidcraft arrived today with your new drums, a karamo and a djemba. They were soon in use along with the didgeridoo.
Today has been what we call in Shetland, a day atween wadders, the lull after and before the storm with no wind and unbroken sunshine. Not a day to be inside so we have been measuring a neighbour’s greenhouse so that we can plan our one. Lots of number crunching tomorrow.
The new house now has a roof. A digger was spreading scalpings before the house over the gutter left after a combination of heavy rain and heavy trucks.
A local farmer caaed kye along the road passed the school, always worth watching especially when a coo left a runny calling card on the grass outside the gate! Hilarious!
