New pier plans

 Peter came in with the new pier plans today.WAW!!A huge new pier just below the school.Well done Uyeasound Waterfront Trust.It looks great.I don’t know how Mrs COutts is going to get anyone to work when the construction starts.Diggers,trucks,barges,workmen,cement mixers.Well at least we know what our project will be about.

 Max who is with us from LOne cove Australia spent sometime today sharing his school web page with the older pupils.He  has made a big impact in our wee school and we really enjoy having him with us.We emailed his school to tell them he is here.

It must be really interesting for Max to be spending time at your school. He’ll certainly go back home with plenty of stories to tell his Aussie friends. Here in NZ we love to beat the Aussies at any sport. Their teams are pretty good so there is great competition between the 2 countries on the sports field. The All Blacks have just played a great game to beat the English 41 to 20. We had to get up at 4.30am if we wanted to watch the game live. I didn’t get up! Too early for me on a school day.
