Winter feel

Winter feel today with a South East gale.From now on the weather will play a big part in the blog just as it plays a big part in our lives.It was dry so the bairns were still outside at break times.

Anna painted the dinner menu board today and we have a new whiteboard to go up.We have to choose our dinners every morning and phone the Baltasound Canteen with our order.The dinners come with the dinner car every day.

Bryden is backfrom Aberdeen and all is well.He will be back at school tomorrow.

 We got £100 from the community council for taking part in the VOar Redd Up.This is where the whole of Shetland does a Spring CLean and tidies the verges and beaches.Most of the litter comes from the Sea.

 As an end of term treat we watched a DVD this afternoon.

What happens if the weather is so bad the dinner can’t get to you from Baltasound?

Barbara’s question bothered me too. I assume the school always has a pack of biscuits available that the teachers will share with the young people at the very least?
