Small school madness

Posted by: rainbowlightschool | September 25, 2006 |

The day started with a report that the boys toilets were a problem. With no janitor it meant a phonecall to Lerwick. The workmen arrived and had a major plumbing job to contend with. They have made a repair but further work is required.A lot of little boys needed the loo.To much going on in the toilets.

MArcus was at PE and on the way back Mrs Priest and him had a shot at fly fishing in the loch. There is a huge trout “Jaws” in the loch. The whole community is after it.Marcus was unsuccessful.

HAzel was in and played with Phoenix Gold as she had an update to do.We also tried to buy three car booster seats to have in school just in case. The powers that be have blocked ebay.We use it a lot.Last year we got a digital camera for £5.

Art in the afternoon. We also had a visitor.Julie D’eath the Modern Languages co-ordinator.We are going to be inspected in Modern Languages in the primary school. We have a good probationer so we should be fine.

So ends another week.

Is this madness, madness and madness due to being off line over the weekend, the weekend, the weekend?

Just keep an eye on Mrs Priest as I know she’ll be back at the loch trying to catch “jaws”. If she’s not at school tomorrow, you’ll know where to look!
Have a good week and I hope the problem with the boys toilet is fixed.
We are enjoying beautiful sunny weather here for the first week of our school holidays.

Mrs Phillips, you’ve blown my cover!
