Skerries School visit the rainbow light school

Posted by: rainbowlightschool | September 12, 2006 |

Firstly we looked at the wonderful write up and pictures in our local paper of our peace garden ceremony. Our paper is The SHetland Times. In the mail we got a cheque for amnesty international which we will pass on.Our Head of Schools was most impressed with our efforts.

In the afternoon while we were having home made bread and jam before co curricular swimming Skerries School appeared to look at our playground. They walked the Labyrinth and studied the wall murals. We are becoming quite a tourist attraction.

We have home made bread and jam at 3:20 on a Monday before being collected for after school swimming. We go to Baltasound for that so it is a long time until teatime at the back of 5.

We liked the maze and the all the paintings on the walls. We would like to do stuff like that here at Skerries school.

If we can help in any way give us a call.

Everyone at the Rainbow light School
