100_1213.JPGBBC radio Shetland did a wonderful piece on our Opening Ceremony.Lots of interviews,really captured the day.

Today it was cleaning up after the event and making sure everything was ready for a normal week.Horrible windy ,wet day .We were certainly lucky with the weather yesterday.

Our new coffee and Hot Chocolate machine arrived today.Most of us sampled the hot chocolate.Will be really good on cold mornings at breakfast club.Tonight we had hot chocolate and freshly baked bread before going to after school swimming.

Miss Bonner and Miss BAtes came to breakfast club this morning.They also watched us do brain gym in the morning.We all do our own exercises.Miss Bates had used it before but Miss Bonner is new to it.We are going to share our exercises with both of them.We will teach our teachers.

Lots of comments on our blog.Still having teething trouble but hopefully we will get there.

It sounded as though your opening went really well. Mrs Priest has sent me some photos and it looks absolutely wonderful. I was so pleased you had good weather for the grand opening. well done to you all.
Our weather is warming up here in NZ as we are moving into spring now. We are certainly looking forward to the summer. Mind you we shouldn’t complain. Our winter is probably not many degrees lower than your summer!
Keep working hard. It is worth it.

Thank you for inviting me to the opening of your peace garden. I thought it was fantastic. Thank you also to Emma, Shona and Lauren for being my interviewees. I’m sending up a CD copy of the report which went out on Radio Shetland last night.
