Mothers & Toddlers

Posted by: rainbowlightschool | August 30, 2006 |

Wednesday is Mother and Toddlers afternoon. Our downstairs room is taken over by the rugrats.Beautiful bedlam. We have to remember and hide things like permanent markers. It is really useful in terms of transition.

Caron (the computer wifie)our technician came to our rescue and reconncted us to the Internet.Router had to be reconfigured.Sounds painful. We also tried to tidy up the cables and leads.

Final plans for Sunday’s Peace garden opening are taking shape.Shona is ptacticing her oath for Peace.Mrs Priest has made 2 Dundee cakes for the tea afterwards. We have been told that the dialama loves Dundee cake.Jane a memeber of the community has given us 3 silk sashes from Tibet to present to folk.Amnesty international are sending someone to speak about one of their prisoners. And there’s more……….

There was also all the usual school stuff, including lots of paperwork.

May peace prevail in the Rainbow Light School on Sunday when you open your peace garden and in all our lives. Forthview Primary School, your pals in Pilton, Edinburgh send you their wishes of joy and peace.

I love Dundee cake too. I bet the silk sashes are beautiful. I liked your comment about paper work! It’s a shame school has so much paper work isn’t it!!
