New staff

Two new members of staff visited us today.Miss Bates (French) and Miss  Bonner    (Music).They are both probationers so they are on a journey too.We are really excited about having them here.

Once the midges disappeared we did manage to get some more work done on the peace garden.We also printed out posters for the opening ceremony.The secretary Hazel was also in today and sent out all the inviations.We still have to put together the ceremony and decide on food.

 The Council Standards and Quality report arrived in the post and the Rainbow Light School is on the front cover.WAW!!!!Looking good.

You are lucky to have 2 new staff members who can help you with misic and french. I love Shetland msuic and I’m really impressed by how well you all dance. I was at Adam Priest’s wedding in July and really enjoyed watching the wonderful dancing and listening to the super music. We don’t dance like that in New Zealand and we don’t have the wonderful fiddlers that you have. Can you play the fiddle?
I loved you school and was really impressed with all the work you have done to make it into such a super learning environment. I wish my school looked as good. I have 230 children at my school……just a few more than you! Loved you web site. Keep up the good work.
